Sound Meditation

Healing sounds have been around since ancient times, and these healing sounds continue to bring peace to people around the globe. Studies show that sound meditation can lead to decreased stress and greater sense of well-being. As a sound practitioner, I like to inquire post meditation session about how the meditation session affect them. My students and clients tend to note that they feel more calm, at peace, and less stressed following a sound meditation session. One of my clients’ favorite instrument is the Remo Ocean Wave Drum which you see me holding here. The ocean wave drum provides a crescendo of wave sounds that are healing and calming for students. What are your favorite sound meditation instruments?
