Not at all. Sound meditation is one of the most accessible healing practices available. You simply lie down and listen. There is nothing to do or get right. Many people who struggle with traditional silent meditation find sound healing far easier because the sound gives your mind somewhere to rest.
Very little. Just enough room to lie down on a yoga mat, about the size of a single bed. A living room, bedroom, patio, or garden area all work beautifully. Larissa will help you identify the ideal spot when you book.
Absolutely. Group sound baths are one of the most popular offerings. Whether it is a small gathering, a hen party, a birthday wellness experience, a corporate event, or a yoga retreat, Larissa brings the full experience to your group. Up to 10 to 12 people work especially well in a home or outdoor setting.
Sound meditation is generally very safe and gentle. If you are pregnant, have a pacemaker, tinnitus, or epilepsy, please mention this when booking. Larissa can adapt the session accordingly. It is suitable for all ages and fitness levels.
Recorded sound is lovely but it is a fundamentally different experience to live sound in your physical space. When Larissa plays bowls around you, the sound waves move through air and body in three dimensions. The vibration is felt as much as heard. There is also the irreplaceable element of human presence and real-time intuitive response to how you are receiving the healing.
